Free mix tape. Every ten weeks a new selection of music from around the world is made available for streaming and free download in MP3 format from Mercedes-Benz. Mix tape 8 is up now.

You need to deactivate your popup blocker. To download click "playlist" - "download all tracks now." By the way You do not have to be a customer of Mercedes-Benz to download it (lucky, that!)

  • Interesting link, thanks! I didn't like any of the tracks, but now I know what sort of music Mercedes thinks goes with its cars. Means I'm probably not ready for a Mercedes yet, heh.

  • Mix tapes are so romantic. Being able to download one online is a guarantee that someone loves you, even though they don't know you.
  • They didn't even make me a cover. A mix tape/CD only ever means anything if you make a cover to go with it. Also, people who call mix CDs mix tapes should burn in rotting shit. Mix tapes are unique and magical. Mix CDs are great, but they're just not. The. Same.

  • If you go to download all tracks it looks like there is a check box for "Cover for printing" with the blurb suggesting that there is a pdf file that contains the cd cover. I dunno if a pdf file containing the cover is quite what would qualify under your assessment, Blaise, but they didn't completely overlook that essential bit. I think on the romance/sentiment scale an mp3 mix << CD < tape. not that I would expect Mercedes to send out a CD or a tape to anybody that wanted one so in this case, kudos to them for the effort. Don't think that I have suddenly been motivated to start saving up for one of their cars though.
