  • That's a clever find, briank!!! Especially in the current drought of news from Turkmenistan, thanks to Bashi's tight control of all media. Old Turkmenbashi, like a melon keeps rolling on and on. At first we thought he was a joke, but now it's clear he is a villain and sadly, no one's thus far counted all the people the old bastard keeps on killing. Among the more memorable events was the bestowal upon tracicle of the title Monkeybashi. We became rich in Turkmenbashi-centric threads with The Collective Monkey Amnesia [= a temporaray but lengthy loss of the monkeyfilter archives], during which time monkeys couldn't access their own history. And so other Bashi- threads were started. As monkeys recovered from the horror, we began using this one of the newer threads, because the longer threads load slowly for some monkeys. Anyone can add to an old thread here -- old threads aren't closed to further comments. [Monkeys: If I've skipped sonething here, please correct it. Thus far, the comments in these threads amount to 2,000+, making it one of our more long-standing ficuses?/entertainments?.
