Indian Mosaic Sculpture Gardens
"..over twenty five acres of several thousand sculptures set in large mosaic courtyards linked by walled paths and deep gorges.."
There's even a Monkey Garden.
  • I like a nice bit of mosaic. The way those monkeys stare is a bit scary, though.
  • Creation falls somewhere between Courage and Crime in both the Dictionary and in Time.
  • I remember reading about this when I was studying naive and folk art - it's one of the most amazing creations in the world. Originally, most were created from discarded things, if I remember right. And it's not just the individual sculptures, but the entire project that is so astounding.
  • Best of the web. Many many nanars for peakay!
  • Excellent!
  • Geez, I almost missed this one. )
  • I remember reaading about this dear man and his creation more than ten years ago. In the article, the writer described visitors who, when they got to the exit, were so dismayed that there were no more mosiacs, many turned right around and went back in.
  • Very nice! Definitely on the list of things to do when I get to India.
