Masquerade and the Mysteries of Kit Williams
I had a copy of untitled as a kid and was much attached to it. Kit's work is intricate, beautiful and intriguing; surely I'm not alone in my nostalgia for these books?
  • I also used to have untitled; it was a present. I haven't even thought about that book in ages - thanks for the link!
  • I still own well-loved copies of each. The reproductions published here do not properly show the glorious and strange beauty of the originals. I expect any lover of illustrations and/or puzzles would be well rewarded by hunting these down. And the title of the 'untitled' book is, well, right there on the front cover.
  • Tried, but can't seem to find much about the bee book, "untitled". Had a copy olf Masquerade years ago, but gave it to someone who coveted it. Have seen none of his other works, so this was interesting -- thanks, forks.
  • "This tarnishes Masquerade and I'm shocked by what has emerged, ' Williams said last night. 'I feel a deep sense of responsibility to all those many people who were genuinely looking for it. Although I didn't know it, it was a skeleton in my cupboard and I'm relieved it has come out." Make sure you check out the FAQ, the story of the "solved" Masquerade is quite the tragedy. Backstabbing ex-girlfriends and all. I'm a fan, especially of Masquerade. There's a quiet mystery in those pages that "untitled" somehow didn't manage to convey (IMO). Don't bother reading the stories in either, though. The pictures tell a much more interesting tale than the words do. ABE has copies of "Untitled" , bees.
  • Ta, Nickdanger.
  • Speaking of these ' slove the puzzle ' books. Does anyone know whatever happen with that book " The Secret " ? Was that just a big hoax ?
