Teaser for New Star Wars Movie I am not a computer-person, but this is an .mov file and I assume you will know what to do.
  • How the fuck did that even happen? I hit "post" once and only once. I did go back and refresh, I believe, though. Did that do it? I am now not allowed to mock others for computer miscues for three days. On the other hand, I did provide proof of my claim in my post.
  • Can we keep this one and get rid of the other one? This ones newer and I like new shiny things.
  • I like this one too. It's like a trophy wife.
  • I am so weak. I can't resist. I will see the movie.
  • Yeah. I'm Lucas's bitch. He keeps backhanding me across the face, and I keep taking him back. Let the cycle of abuse continue.
  • Looks like the file has already been jackbooted by the LFL lawyer-types. Probably gave the site owner a nastygram. Good thing I got the file on my desktop before that happened, though...
  • Breaking news! Padme and Anakin sex scene rumor squashed by Star Wars Message Board geeks.
  • I watched the trailer before it was removed, and I have no desire to see this, as was the case with the last one. That phantom bullshit soured me forever, I guess.
  • Try this site. They're trying to maintain working links to the trailer.
  • I saw and loved the first three when they came out in the theatres. I haven't seen the original three in many, many years. I also never saw The Phantom Menace except for a few scenes here and there. Saw the DVD of Attack of The Clones at a *mart for $4.99 and so of course picked it up. That was such an awful movie that I feel $4.99 was too much. Blech! I'm afraid to watch the original three now. My memories might betray me.
  • I liked the first three when I was a kid, but I wasn't crazy about'em. I still haven't seen any of the prequels, out of a lack of interest. This trailer, however, makes me want to see the new one... looks pretty good.
  • Fear leads to Greed. Greed leads to bad business decisions. Bad business decisions lead to full movie theatres. Full movie theaters lead to suffering. Suffering leads to DVD sales...
  • I actually kind of liked attack of the clones...
  • Written and directed by George Lucas. Ah, there's your problem.
  • Not gonna see it. I already know what happens.
  • I know it's cool to hate the new movies, but I'm willing to accept them for what they are to me: purely escapist sci-fi. Is it bad sci-fi? Yep. Do the new movies do justice to the originals? Maybe not. Do I care? Not really. I don't go to them for deep philosophical insight. They entertain me. Eye-candy is what they are, and eye-candy is all the originals really were as well. And besides, light-sabers are the coolest thing to ever hit the screen. I'd gladly fall to the dark side if only I could only have a saber.
  • I dunno. I've got a bad feeling about this...
  • I don't see any difference between the old & new, apart from casting. I think all the people who scream that Lucas has 'raped their childhood' and such like are whiners who are seeing the old trilogy thru rose coloured spectacles. I was a SW fanatic as a kid, & I like the new ones fine. People are stupid.
  • I have to have something to be a snob about!
  • Wookiees!
  • stop lying, all of you. Of course you're going to see it...
  • The one thing I feel is really worse than my childhood trilogy is Jar Jar Binks. The love scenes between Anakin and Padme in II are awful, but some of the dialogue in the original movies stank too. As far as the trailer goes, I uttered fangirl squees while watching it and will be there ASAP after it opens. Call me insufficiently snobby if you like, but it's Star Wars, dammit! Meanwhile, I recommend renting the original Flash Gordon serials from Netflix to get in the mood. I have the middle Buster Crabbe one (we've already watched the other two) and we're going to start it this weekend.
  • "my childhood trilogy" There, that's the issue.
  • Han shot first.
