Titor's Last Stand? As beloved (and debunked) in the internets as kitties, John Titor's linchpin claim was of an impending civil war in the United States. I, for one, felt a brush-up was in order before the festivities begin.

In this case, the festivities begin on Saturday, In Seattle, at the Elysian, and yes, I'll make a less cryptic reminder post on Friday.

  • Now I'm all creeped out.... I hate it when I start imagining myself getting nuked like that. But interesting reading none the less. I'm not sure I'm supposed to be responding to this (as it sounds like it's common knowledge, and just being used here to promote a meetup) but thanks for the link anyway, mwhybark. And, uh, enjoy the meetup.
  • The future sounds really boring. Cities get nuked. Everyone has to work the fields. Church-going is a requirement. There's only five states. Most of Europe is gone. Guess I could sit between the cornrows and count grain.
  • Counting grain is fun, I assure you.
  • As much fun as tractors?
  • Assuming there is corn and not some mutant GM glowing zombie maize.
  • I do not believe any prediction that fails to include the unquestionably impending zombie apocalypse. And when it comes, I will be siding with the zombies. I want your brains.
  • Put me under the first bomb.
  • Nothing is as fun as a tractor.
  • I'd better start growing oranges...
  • And I could grow apples, and we could have endless arguements about which is better. That'll pass the time until someone reinvents HBO.
