The Alternate History blog. "Important events in history that never happened today." [via the Daily Illuminator at Steve Jackson Games]
  • maybe i'm stupid, but i can't figure out whether this is worldlines from the blogger's own imagination, or from books that he's read... it's cool either way, but to have that kind of knowledge of alt.history fiction would be stunning...
  • Um, they're currently working on a "Pete Best-Superstar Timeline" (scroll down a bit). Is the internets ready for this? A pantsless forking pete_best timeline? I think not.
  • can't figure out whether this is worldlines from the blogger's own imagination, or from books that he's read There's a link to this other blog that explains the entries a bit and where and how they deviate from what this timeline, if I may be so sci-fi as to call it that. Why the two blogs couldn't be combined I do not know. That reminds me, I better end this comment now and keep my modem line free because I'm still waiting for the Bell System people to come install a new phone (glad they never split them up, I'd hate to have to do that myself!), then it's off on the interstate trolleyway to go campaigning for Hillary In '04. You know, my uncle told me they nearly tore down the trolleyways after the war, can you beleive? (Why do people in alternate history fiction always talk like that?)
