My Head is Going to 'Splode!!!! Optical Illusions that make your eyes go crazy and doubt your sanity!

So technically this is two posts in 24 hours for me, but rules were made to be broken! Breakin' the law! Breakin' the law! These have been around for a while, but I couldn't find them either on here or on metafilter. The links at the bottom of the page go to more illusions.

Although until now there has been no proof that optical illusions are harmful to the human body, persons with motion sickness etc. should beware.   • This is probably the most convincing optical illusion I've ever seen. I had to copy it to a paint program to confirm, and I still don't believe it.
  • Reuven, that one is evil. I checked it too and both squares were 47% grey. But I can't get my brain to agree.
  • On the checker-square one, I could get my brain to agree if I held up my hands and looked through a narrow gap formed by them at the two squares. Then squint really, really hard and you might get it.
