Homeless use Internet to be connected Since Forks is plugging his media exposure I thought I do the same. I did a 15 minute telephone interview for this article and I'm in one paragraph. So there isn't really much about me (except my real name) in it.
  • Yo, Sully, that's a registration-only site. Got a login?
  • I just made one. username: monkeyfilter password: filter
  • Sullivan - So, how long have you been homeless?
  • I hadn't realized that you were homeless, Sullivan.
  • Thanks, Sulli -- glad you're back online.
  • Excellent recognition for those on the homeless front and blogging. Don't you ever have a problem with the chicks trying to track you down and 'save' you? You seem to have quite a following, at least from what I've seen over the months.
  • you guys didn't know that? yup. sully's an interesting dude.
  • I tend not to talk about it here after the Homeless Guy went off on Metafilter because some off the members thought he was a crybaby. That's not my concern one way or another. The reason I went public is because the Tampa Tribune also wants to interview me and I want to start freelancing articles. I know Salon publishes a lot of bloggers. So does anyone have tips on how I can score scome freelance writing jobs.
  • Hey, my recent post got linked to Bloggerheads. I basicly used the links you monkeys added this this thread to write the post.
  • There was another homeless Mofite in the early days. The only reason I found out was because I checked his profile and read his blog (when there were fewer of us it was my habit), which was really good. I emailed him asking if I could post it, but never heard back. Don't know if he's still on board since I can't remember his name at this point.
  • Right on Sullivan! I hope you get some gigs.
  • Las Vegas cracks down on the homeless With mixed success in the courts and on the streets, Las Vegas has tried sweeping away their encampments, closing a park where they hang out, making it a crime to feed them, even passing a ban on sleeping within 500 feet of feces.
