Cold winter with fake snow
Dennis Quaid, starring in 'The Day After Tomorrow' recalls past winter: "Here we were in Montreal making a movie about a killer Ice Age and the weather channels were telling us it was the coldest winter Montrealers could recall."

Let's see how the PR mill scored. January was the third coldest on record in Montreal, but December and February were warm and made the winter averages quite normal (just 0.7 deg C below normal). I realize someone else made the claim, but they are still using anecdotal info to hype the story.
