I did not watch the James Comey testimony, but I read about it and I saw some clips. John McCain was so bad that I was almost surprised comedians made fun of him. I thought he sort of entered that zone where it is so sad we don't even mock him.
I am confident that the screen is more likely to change first for Trump. He has a lot of things going for him. Most importantly, I think his terms ends first? Also, he is far more likely to die or have to resign for health reasons. Lastly, he has a slightly higher chance of being forcibly removed.
On the other hand, I know nothing.
Well, I'm neither USian nor UKian, so what do I know --- but from what i've gathered about the DUP recently, I don't think they're above "Hey thanks for the billion quid bribe, but now get stuffed."
I have a soft spot for people who take bribes and then don't deliver what the bribe was supposed to be for.
