The Blues Brothers is a Catholic movie. The Apocalypse is just a bit further down.

  • I can never go to a parent-teacher thing without seeing the ghosts of Jake and Elwood squeezed into little desks and being assaulted by "The Penguin".
  • (heh) My main memory is of their car flying through the air... It's all a blur now. Have to rent it out again. I've nothing against the Roman Catholics. Always liked them, really. Especially their use of the position of devil's advocate prior to the granting of sainthood. Now it looks as if this movie, or at least one of it's actors, if he may have granted favors posthumously (Belushi?) is well on the way toward that honor. Aretha was great though!
