Photo sharing! We haven't done anything like this in a long time. Post a photo you've taken that you think is really awesome for whatever reason. Technically awesome, an awesome subject (or an awesome photographer).
  • First game Kidlet #1's first rugby game.
  • From a couple of years ago... Under the big bridge, mid-winter (click for a larger version):
  • I just took this one a couple of hours ago.
  • Small-Stonehenge-NJ Stone Henge in New Jersey?
  • That is awesome HuronBob! I'm pretty pleased with this one I took yesterday. It was also delicious. Mini Blueberry Pancakes with Mango Stars & Strawberry Hearts
  • Obligatory sunset shot, somewhere in England.
  • gomi, your photos always make me hungry! Dan Folkus - that is such a cool pic. What is it?
  • luna Entrance to Luna Park in Sydney
  • Dan Folkus - that is such a cool pic. What is it? Thanks, tracicle. The structure was once part of the Bethlehem Loading Company, a munitions factory during World War I, later gutted of steel to make battleships for World War II. Now it's going back to Nature in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey.
  • Grandkid and the Great Big Draft Horse
  • fun stuff... good idea!
  • It's something I've recently realised is missing from MoFi. We don't have enough stuff that's just about being part of the community any more. I miss that.
  • Luna Park in Sydney completely terrifies me as an adult. I don't know how they expect children to go there. I will get my wife to post a photo or two on here that she has taken. Prediction? Cats.
  • Latest stained glass window made by my mom
  • Gin in a can, December 2009.
  • A few years ago, I noticed a six-legged brown recluse in my hallway. I took it to the biology department and looked at it under a microscope to figure out if it had lost a couple of legs or if the six-leggedness was a deformity. There were hairy stumps where the legs should have been, so it was either a deformity or the spider had lost its legs long ago and successive moltings healed over the damaged legs. I'm still not sure which.
  • Also, I considered letting it bite me to see what sort of super-powers I might get, but then I chickened out.
  • jay...good decision....
  • just to keep it going, here's another one..
  • Whoops, I meant to make the second image a little smaller. That's way too big. If anybody with the power to change it is bothered by the size, can we edit that second image link to be http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v670/grumgrum/SpiderCloseTop.jpg?t=1271209739 please? Sorry 'bout that.
  • I think it's okay, Jay - although if it affects anyone's load time, please sing out. That's mighty disturbing, btw.
  • Nice stained glass, rjd. I melted in blue and green stained glass pieces when I blew this vase. Then I broke it (accidentally). Then, just to see if it was possible, I superglued it together again, which was quite fun, like a 3D jigsaw with razor sharp edges. Made it, broke it, glued it.
  • Tracicle/Jay: The only issue with that picture was the content... ::SHUDDERS::
  • Yay tracicle! Lovely thread. Gorgeous pics, everybody. _MG_2491_2 A still from a video we shot a few weeks back.
  • Co-generation plant at night
  • Huh. Maybe we should have kept the larger image of the spider closeup, if people find it that disturbing. With the bigger image, you can really see the hairiness of the legs, which is even creepier. Mwahaha. As sort of a unicorn chaser image, here's a shot of beauty seen from a different perspective.
  • I'll keep posting these as long as this thread is alive! butter on a cast iron skillet!
  • Henri This is my most recent rescue, Henri. He was nearly starved to death - he weighed 1 lb. 4 oz. in this pic. He's a big, healthy Ragdoll now. :)
  • I'll keep posting these as long as this thread is alive! On MoFi threads will never die! Lagoon in our harbour.. lagoon
  • Hmm... I wonder if I'm trying to do my picture posting wrong..
  • In what way, Suo?
  • FairyWench, that is one fine kitten photo.
  • Well... i put in the code click post and I get a blank page. So imagine somewhere along the way I'm doing it wrong
  • I was lazy and popped mine up on flickr, then copy-pasted the code they provide. I can't even remember the HTML these days, sadly. Someone else?
  • That's what I did, copied and pasted flckr code... I must just be wrong doing DSC00677
  • Here's a couple of images to compare: http://monkeyfilter.com/link.php/17198 And http://monkeyfilter.com/link.php/9625 The first is this thread, thee second is a random thread from 2005. Why is Monkeyfilter dying?
  • Old age?
  • Need more banannas?
  • Lack of cockpunch and poofling?
  • No piss and and vinegar. That's whats wrong with todays youth monkeyfilter. Dying? Not on my watch. They'll have to pry the mouse from my cold dead hands.
