The Oops Design Award is only in its first year, but you can already find dozens of silly, impractical and sometimes downright dangerous product designs on the site.
  • I was intrigued by the log bench. Can't say how many times I've wished logs in the woods could have backrests, as they're actually quite comfortable for sitting. Too bad the design is so ugly. Fun stuff.
  • I'm sorry, but I thought "Martin the Mule" with the storage cabinet on his two-dimensional back was kinda cute. Too bad I have no room for storage with non-functional decorative elements in my closet-sized residence.
  • The reactionary Oops award to encourage boring, mass produced objects that do not in any way challenge the quivering sludge of frightened consumer-sheeple out of their catatonic sense of superiority over those touched by true artistry, I say!
  • I would have appreciated a little more context on some of these - just a simple photo doesn't help me make sense of most of them.
