A new species of giant rat has been discovered deep in the jungle of Papua New Guinea.
  • Please don't play with the 36 inch bulgy-eyed rat, people! ACK! Me, I'm glad we share our world with another species. Now go away and leave him to multiply and live his little giant rat life in peace.
  • rats are ky00t
  • Dammit homunculus I would have felt better not knowing about this!
  • It will only cost you a thrupenny bit to see it.
  • I was bitten by a 600 gram rat about two weeks ago and my finger is still feeling weird. Note to self: Don't mess with the big fellas. But they might be neat as a pet, no? "What kind of cat is that, Joe?" "Oh it isn't a cat, just your bog-standard GIANT JUNGLE-BRED MUTANT SEWER RAT. Why do you ask?" Also beware of the fanged frogs. Eponysteri-something-or-other.
  • Speaking of which, Mr. Frogs, has your tadpole developed fangs yet?
  • No fangs yet. But he does have a HUGE smile these days. He is awesome.
  • Pictures? We want tadpole PICTURES, goldangit!
  • Well, there's this one... Link is to a recent set, and there's lots more in my Flickr photostream! PS note the excessive drool. He leaks so copiously that I'm surprised he isn't growing algae on his little chin.
  • Ahhhh, what a cutie! He has his mom's great smile and his dad's webbed toes eyes. Is he always that happy?
  • Yes, that is a long nose frog. I wonder if they used to tease him in frog school.
