Egyptian Mummies are not screaming compare the ones at the Guanajuato Museum - there’s a pictorial tour (first page requires Windows Media Player, but you can skip it) - or the Capuchin catacombs, in Palermo.
  • I suppose we'll all look like that, someday.
  • Live fast, die young and leave a good looking screaming corpse.
  • I scream, you scream, we all scream the die scream.
  • Personally I hope to be cremated and tidied up out of people's way. If you leave your corpse lying around, the best you can hope for is to become a grisly museum exhibit like Jeremy Bentham - and you could end up like poor old Elmer McCurdy
  • For some reason incorruptables, seem grizzlier to me than the screamers.
  • Lol bluehorse!
  • Quidnunc - so good to have you drop by again!
  • I've seen the display of St. John Neumann at his shrine below St. Peter's church in Philadelphia. I don't believe that's really his body. It's a plaster cast to my eyes. But I'm struck by the relics they keep in a room back of the shrine. A leather scourge he used to beat himself with in penance. The necklace of cruel hooks that he wore beneath his vestments... They said he loved the poor and the disenfranchised. I only wish he could have loved himself as much as he loved his neighbors...
  • I'm glad I clicked on the incorruptables link. At first I thought it would be about a sequel to that Pixar film.
