The Slanket A blanket, with sleeves!

A happy customer writes: I work from home and can sit with my slanket on now while I use the keyboard and mouse with ease. Plus I have a brown one, so I look like a medieval monk. Who doesn't like medieval monks!??! THANKYOU SLANKET! Posted because it looks funny.

  • Oh, and I've futzed up the sidebar too. Yay me.
  • I bought one for my wife for Christmas last year, and she loved it so much that she bought one each for me and our daughter. When I put mine on, I like to put the top over my head and pretend that I am Obi-Wan Kenobi. SHUT UP!
  • OUTED!
  • Actually, Mrs K would love one of these...
  • THESE ARE AWESOME! *writes to Santa*
  • If you're going to buy one, QVC seems to be the best price (33% less than theslanket.com)
  • The Slanket - You'll come for the cheap laughs, but stay for teh cozy!
  • I only want one if they come made from Sham-Wows.
  • Dude...you get that thing wet and it'll weigh 300 pounds.
  • I figure it'd be an easy way to wash the car.
  • Looks great for sitting up in bed, which is how I spend the weekend. I like to pretend briank is Obi-Wan Kenobi, too.
  • Bloody thing is sold out. I tried to order one last night (for somebody else).
  • Yeah yeah.
  • In a way, it reminds me of these, as long as we're discussing silly concepts.
  • I dont have a slanket but I do have a long gray bathrobe with a big hood and long wide sleeve, which I have always called "robi-wan kenobi" :D also, I have to say I love anyone who gets excited about looking like a medieval monk, it's just so.....adorably geeky!!!!
  • My tonsure, alloweth me let you shew.
  • What does it look like when you're not on a couch?
  • Some would say the same about me Waxboy.
  • Adorable!! Look like a mon(key) in your new slanket!
  • If only this had been available to the prisoners in Long Kesh, they'd have probably forgotten all about political status.
  • When not on couch.
  • you're right, kit, i would like one... but when did you start referring to me as teh missus? *wibbles* *snuggles closer*
  • There's room under this Slanket for two, you know...
  • is it cheaper than a room?
  • Depends on what kind of room you're used to.
  • My MIL gave us an off-brand version of the Slanket, which involves lots of zippers and snaps. It's a flat blanket when not done up, and we've never figured out the complicated system of the sucker. Which is too bad, because it's cozy and brown, and would be an admirable Obi-Wan costume for around the house.
  • And, for Summer wearing, there's this.
  • I feel obligated to point out that Ralph's link is both NSFW and SO SO AWESOME.
