  • This is sad news indeed. If you recognize his name you're probably already in the know, but just in case there is an excellent documentary on the instrumentalists who recorded most of his songs. These legends are gone but will never be forgotten.
  • Amen. See that movie if you haven't already.
  • One of the Funk Brothers (a latecomer, one of the guitarists on What's Going On) lives in Niagara Falls, working the cocktail circuit for the last 30 years. He came out for the screening I saw, answered a few questions, let us know what Really Happened when Berry Gordy moved Motown to L.A. Great stuff.
