Christmas in July August Hell Rockabye Christmas is a holiday tribute record consisting of twelve Christmas favorites presented via the sound of screaming infants (a.k.a. the Jingle Babies).

Found via this article in Believer Magazine which you can't read because you're woefully unhip. But you *can* listen to the free sample tracks, and thank god that Christmas is still five months away.

  • It's funny now, but let there be no doubt -- this way madness lies.
  • I went to a Christmas party once where the only things the person in charge of "entertainment" brought were two different CDs of dogs barking Christmas carols. It was funny for about 5 minutes, then extremely annoying for the other 2.5 hours of the party (she wouldn't turn them off, and we had to stay because it was a party for my dad's service organization).
  • As a matter of fact, the Jingle Babies company is *also* responsible for Jingle Dogs!
  • Ack! Their reign of terror continues!!
