Hello Cthulhu

Via The Brainwashed Brain

  • Awwww. His terrible visage is soooo cute!
  • Hey! An allusion to Pratchett! I like! I like the rest of the site too, dng. Although one wonders who would have summoned Cthulhu there?
  • IA! CTHULHU FTAGHN! (translation: [this is good])
  • That was great...in a cute Elder God sorta way
  • This has been up for over an hour and homunculus hasn't commented yet. Coincidence?
  • *gasp* Could homunculus be.... KEROPPI? *cue thunder and dramatic music*
  • I want some ribbons too!
  • Awww... done already.
  • I like to color things in, I really like purple, it looks sooo pretty.
  • I for one welcome, etc. [Sorry. Couldn't resist.] Also: Cthulhu for president. Lovecraft freaks the bejebus out of me, btw.
  • My wife finds Lovecraft soothing. Should I be concerned?
  • Kimberly got me a Carl Cthulu for my birthday. I laughed so had I nearly coughed up a lung. From the box: From the pages of Little Gloomy comes Carl Cthulhu. Carl likes bunnies. Carl loves daisies! Carl wants to consume every living soul on the planet! The earth will shake and the seas will boil! Carl will destroy you all! Carl needs a hug. Best of all is the fact his eyes light up and blink...the box says Glowing Eyes of DOOM! on one side and Glowing Eyes of LOVE! on the other. Oh Carl Cthulu, I love you!
  • Depends. Do you prefer that or human sacrifices?
  • Wow, that was for rodgerd.
  • I, for one, am glad the Elder Gods are making a comeback, albeit in slightly different stylings. They rocked the party back in the day.
  • Magnificent, wol.
  • The first link was hilarious, but the second link was sad. Now I don't know what to do. *sits down, cries*
  • Sorry to hear about that, muteboy (I think).
  • That's rough, mute. If you feel like a quiet pint in the Blackfriar or somewhere (or even in Tooting) some time, just say the word.
  • Ditto.
  • THAT'S THE SPIRIT! The Blackfriar would be super. Koko, you coming too? Anyone else? Email in profile. p.s. Wol, that made me laugh out loud
  • That is really cool Wolof.
  • Damn, I wish I was close enough to join you all again. So sorry, muteboy.
  • I will be there in spirit! My body is frozen in a block of ice at the moment.
  • Sorry muteboy. I recommend many pints.
  • :( I wish I could be there to help you drown your sorrows, mutie!
  • Sending pint through thoughtmail.
  • (Medusa as an X-Men villain. Who knew?)
  • Please prove that Medusa is an X-Men villain, and show your work.
  • Thanks all for your thoughts and kindness. Mutie is single, spread the word. Does this mean I need to join Cpt Renaults dating thread? Not yet. Pleggers, Quiddy, I'll be in touch soon. Some threadjack, eh? *sips NickD's thoughtpint, smacks lips, nods approvingly, wipes foam from walrus moustache* *gets fired from LU for drinking on the job*
  • I will be there in spirit! My body is frozen in a block of ice at the moment. Surround yourself with some gin, tonic, and lime, and you're all set! All the best, mb. You can count on us for distraction.
  • I'm not sure why I am an X-men villain, but I'll be Jean Gray's evil whatever, since I have long red hair and her character was awesome in X3. We need to have some sort of international MonkeyMixer, where our various hot, but tragically single simians can find love :D
  • Sorry. "Mutie" is a racial slur of sorts in the X-Men universe. So I hear I wish I could be there to help you drown your sorrows, mutie! spoken with a eeeevil snarl. roryk's advice is sage, and I second it. CHUU!!
  • Fun short story in Neil Gaiman's latest (Fragile Things) about the Old Ones.
  • Constant raucous music via headphones helps, too. Good luck with it, muteboy - hope good stuff comes your way soon.
  • roryk, I loved that story!! Count me in for the Blackfriar, o boy of muteness.
  • This sounds more and more like a meetup! Is a thread in order? It would be great to see you PA, and everyone who can make it to The Blackfriar (link 1, link 2, map) sometime soon. er.. dunno when. nice tshirt
  • Damn, that place looks gorgeous.
  • LOLThulhu
