Moms may be using 21st centuries methods to correspond with their kids, but apparently, it hasn't changed them. Much. A bit late for Mothers Day, but I found this too sweet and funny not to share.
  • Moms and thongs don't go together well. Unless they're those fake internet "moms" who are actually 25. Then it's okay.
  • I just wanted all of you to know how very proud of your father you should be. Today he exercised his citizen’s right to a fair trial and at great personal inconvenience went himself before the traffic court of Simi Valley, California to contest (with photographs and impassioned rhetoric) the traffic ticket he received last month. I was so stirred by his righteous indignation and his willingness to stand up for what he believes, that I simply had to tell you that Nathan Hale himself, he of “give me liberty or give me death” fame, would have applauded your father’s actions. It is only because the policeman who ticketed him elected to come to the trial that, alas, he was found guilty. We both think EVERYONE can benefit by a round of traffic school and he is more than willing to do his time there. The fine seemed excessive but you know these bureaucrats, probably Democrats who have it in for all honest capitalists, will have their day. Love, Mom
A little too good to be true?
