My office runs a contest each year where kindergarteners draw their favorite farm animals. Needless to say, they don't always look like the real thing. Yesterday, we got a submission that looked like a cross between a horse and a giraffe. We spent the afternoon trying to come up with a name for it - Horaffe? Giorse? Girony? My Friend Flickaraffe? His neigbbor appeared to be a very considerate cow, whose legs were so long that the farmer didn;t have to sit down to milk her. My very favorite entry, from two years ago, was the pig with a shark fin.
