  • Superb. Thanks, Hank.
  • stop being so awesome, darn it. ;)
  • Oh, man. This is like, so totally bookmarked.
  • ironic that the site is such crap when the content is so fantastic!
  • Fun post from the wayback machine, Hankie. Mr. BlueHorse still has a few of these stashed away in the basement, I do believe. Sorry, Cheeseguy. Fantastic the content isn't. Everything is way too...groooooovy. If it's not uncomfortable, it's ugly. Big emphasis on either plastic or torturing the h#$l out of natural materials so they look plastic. May I present to you the example of this post on beds? Uncomfortable? Yes. Ugly? Yes. Looks like crap you'd buy at Sam's Club? Yes.

  • i think it was an important time for exploration in design and technology and their intersection. I agree that some of the stuff is utter crap and even more is completely hideous, but i stand by my statement that it's all a fantastic record.
  • Anyone who doesn't love this era of design has a dead soul. Anyone who doesn't want their bedroom to look like one of the sets of Space:1999 is not worthy to breathe!
  • /searches for flip clocks on Ebay
  • The spaceship interiors in 2001: A Space Odyssey make me weep from the sheer beauty.
