"Committed To Parkview," was written for Porter Wagoner 25 years ago by Johnny Cash for Porter upon his learning that he and Wagoner had both spent time in the Nashville sanatorium.

  • I saw Porter live in New York some months ago and it was one of the better shows I've ever seen.
  • I posted that sort of as a response to the Glen Campbell thread (on the blue), and btw, I didn't want to burst their bubble over there with this little tidbit about "lineman" Well, I would have, but I don't have an account, with those people
  • Powerful stuff. I almost think I'd have been able to tell that was a Johnny Cash song even if I hadn't known.
