Exquisite sea slugs - such variety!

Angels, devils, clowns, scarlet ladies, fireworks, more fireworks, pepperoni pizza, lovely amethyst, cute-as-a-button, purple porcupine, starry night, rose garden, strawberry shortcake, flamboyant fool, painted highways, ringlets, llama, roman nougat, cowardly lion. What's your favourite slug-of-the-week? Nudibrancs are hermaphrodites. Here we see two scoops of neapolitan ice cream indulging in nookie. Sea slug smut show (QT video). Nudibranch video, from Bubblevision, a site offering lots of gorgeous free underwater video clips. Find a sea slug near you. Pull up a chair and chat on the Sea Slug Forum. More nudibranch info: "I personally think nudibranchs are a happy bunch, even though they have only a few brain cells. They all look like they're dressed up going to a party. They look like they are where they want to be. And that is the fundamental success of evolutionary adaptations." Make your own sea slug! Cook 'em for your guests. They look tasty enough. Finally, a lesson for us all on trusting computer translation.

  • Ooooooooooooh! I had abolutely no idea that this kind of variety existed. I think this feller is my favorite; he looks like a little moth!
  • Wow, a banquet of gorgeous slug-ness! These are so fabulous and happy-looking! Each is more lovely than most human-created objects. Too bad they don't transition easily to jewelry! BTW I'd rather view than eat them. Land-based slugs are much less lovely, but at least they have a festival.

  • I'm overwhelmed by all your work fish tick. Thank you and I've finished dinner already so no thanks.
  • Land-based slugs are much less lovely I beg your pardon! We are all extremely lovely! And not only that it's Alumni Weekend so you should all show some respect! Fiat slug, y'all! (BOT: Splendid work, fish tick. I am in awe)
