    There are many things wrong with this statement, but the most glaring one is unfortunate error in the language that certainly wasn't meant to offend. What language? Why is there an error in the language? Was the error committed by Romney or did it already exist in the language? The language that ... wasn't meant to offend is what language, exactly? Why can't the politicians teach their spokespeople how to speak? Norwegians learn Norwegian, etc.
