Perfect Xmas gift for the young and young at heart. slow for dial-up
  • I almost bought The Avenging Unicorn for one of my nieces.
  • ...where they will actually leap out of the water to spear the deadly koalas from their perches high in the Eucalyptus trees. This I must see.
  • But then they get attacked by the drop bears! But then the drop bears get impaled too! And then the ferocious mushrooms and green peppers tumble from the sky, and are also impaled! Then it rains marinade! Then the ground opens up revealing hot lava underneath a metal grid of some sort! I think you can guess what happens next!!
  • Yes! I come down!
  • *sends an amendment to her Letter to Santa*
  • *slaps fins together* *barks in approval*
  • *feels uni-cored*
  • Where can you get it?
  • Biologists the world over are currently rewriting textbooks to include the line: "The vicious koala bear, the tree-based natural enemy of the ocean-based narwal, was the subject of frequent impalement."
  • Koala vs. Narwal chess set! *clap!* *clap!*
  • At first glance I thought it was a fishing lure designed to catch unicorns. Which would be useful to me, as the ones I have simply do not work.
  • Unicorns never like to work. They get ticked, and destroy any carriage ye try to hitch 'em to.
  • bees, have you tried braiding some flowers and shiny ribbon into their hair? That sometimes works.
  • Just what did they do to that poor narwhal that he needed 'avenging'? And I want that crystal tusk... global communication?
  • *blinks, stares, continues eating banana*
  • Old and busted: Pirates vs. Ninjas. The new hotness: Narwals vs. Unicorns
  • flagpole: well, someone wiped out all the narwhal's, for one. Except for this avenging one. I suspect it's the Spirit of the Vengeance of the Narwhals.
  • filmgeek: here maybe? Google turned up a few other places as well. What I could do with an instant paralysis or blood-draining horn....oh and global communication would be okay. As far as being endangered, I guess technically narwhals are in the "Data Deficient" category, but I know very little about this. The lack of data does make sense considering their wily, calculating nature.
  • This is freakin' hilarious. Good link.
