Pictures of Geckos Eating Jam
Geckos at Wikipedia
. Do you like Geckos?
Mmm...geckos and jam sammiches.
Yes, yes I do.
Geckos are great. They just hang out on the wall, make that odd little noise, and eat mosquitos. Wonderful critters.
Do you have any pics of geckos eating vegemite and/or menses?
Greed is good.
Holy cow... sheer coincidence. Just 10 minutes ago I went to the kitchen and found
in the hallway. First time we've ever seen one in the house. He's got a free pass from us, although I'm not sure we have enough bugs to keep him going. I think at this moment he's under the freezer.
The world's tiniest gecko pictured
You know, Chyren, I do like geckos. Used to see their translucent bellies and disk-toes pressed up against the windows at my childhood home, all stillness until a moth landed nearby then *bam*, no more moth.
, you can always put out a small spoonful of canned pet food for lizards.
I have two types of gecko living with me right here. I like seeing their funny sticky little feet climbing up my front window on a hot night, and the sound of their chirruping.
Haiku by glamajamma: Alas gecko! no geckos here cats live and hunt all life but repay in squeee
Where the heck is Captain Cook? I din't know geckos liked jam. I'll try giving one some next I see one.
Oh, so cute! My geckos don't eat anything like jam. Just crickets and...um...fingers.
"Where the heck is Captain Cook?"
I was eating jam while I looked at the geckos eating jam. That is all.
I'm a gecko I am and I like to eat jam it tastes better than flies or stiff cricket thighs
i have a gecko keyring, which i bought in bali. agnes b used to put a nice gecko drawing/logo on t-shirts and hats, but i can't find any pictures.
note that my gecko keyring is not made out of gecko, but is rather a representation of a gecko, made out of metal.
I browse the web on a Gecko.
Is this really just another ploy to sell us car insurance?
*gets mental image of Fuyugare in chaps riding a small lizard across a ceiling* Yee-haa! Giddyup!
*gets mental image of gecko licking fuyu's eyeball*
*sigh* Now I'm gonna have to post
(a photo I took on my back deck when I lived in Alabama many years ago), and in so doing, declare myself the winner of the thread. I apologize.
I don't want to be exposed to Anoles.
*feels the gecko love* *pets mah house gecko*
Geckos be way cute, and bring nothing but good stuff. What moved me to comment, however, was the poetic work of beeswacky and glamajamma. Really lifted up my Monday. *feels geckopoetically elevated*
The bees has that effect on us all kinnakeet. To those whom have considered a gecko to ease pest problems, please note that there are good arguments as to why this is not advisable. Which is a bummer because it'd be so cool to have a random cool thing like a gecko take care of the pests and not have to be fed or watered or anything. A gecko and a grackle In a mall, in a squabble Had a difference of opinion As to which one was more awful But the bitey bird was bitten While the languid lizard's sittin' There all quiet like and playing off Affrontery

Having lived in Alabama, you lose all right to win the thread. Thanks for playing.

Well? Personally, I'd like to start up an anteater rental business here in the frozen North.
Great photo, RTD!

Cuz he says so? You can't just dangle that out there with no explanation, pete!
Is it 'cause of all the i-guano?
dunno what other predators think but there was shock value when I was left with only a bright blue tail twitching in my hand and I swore off skink
You can't just dangle that out there
Oh! Sorry. err, y'know I googled and I searched and I combed but couldn't find it. I coulda swore it was an AskMe thread, but the only one that looks like it only mentions the poo aspect. This was a thread with a couple of posts about the nutritional needs of geckos and words to the effect that buying one and letting it loose in your house to live off the roaches is pretty not nice to them. They need some kinda calcium supplement or kryptonical solution or some such. I dunno. I got enough trouble with me own reptilian brain.
WO-MAN! WO-MAN! WO-MAN!! AGHHHHHH!!!
Bat droppings, which are brown or black and resemble instant rice grains in size and shape, are composed entirely of insect parts. Mouse droppings are similar in size and shape but do not crumble between your fingers to reveal fragments of insect cuticle.
Gecko droppings are similar to bat droppings but the pieces of insects are larger, less chewed up, and have small white caps of uric acid on one end.
Cockroach droppings are usually smaller and have 6 flattened sides, making them hexagonal in cross section
You forgot that fish tick droppings are tiny golden eggs.
I collect them when she isn't looking!
She the gold-pooping tick who you suspected of being a male. :-P
Huh. Well, I suppose having the nym "Tony" would lead one to think that you were a dood. We need that Tricycle guy to pony up a male/female/other* section for our account profiles. Then I won't be no more confuzzled. *
designation obviously for Ralph
*licks finger, marks air*
RTD! You should really have included a warning that that linked photo of yours contains anole sex.
Great poetry on this thread. I lubs me some geckos.
