The (British) National Trust wants to record One Day in History in what it calls the biggest ever blog.
  • God - my entry would be so boring even I wouldn't read it.
  • I don't think anyone will abuse this effort by posting impolite, obscene, or satirical content. No, I am sure no one will do that.
  • Because archeologists of the future will have an incredible lack of trash to sift through to find this sort of stuff out. Oh, I forgot, global warming means that there won't be any archeologists of the future. No, I haven't had my morning tea yet. Why do you ask? Seriously though, nice idea, seems kinda redundant.
  • I don't think you can really call this a blog - it'll have lots of posts right at the beginning, then suddenly nothing... er... Part of History Matters, I should have mentioned, by the way.
  • Someone should let the National Trust know there is this thing called the Internets, which one may surf on, read blogs, and look at lots of days of lots of lives.
  • archive.org anyone?
  • *eyes glaze*
  • But who will save and archive all those blogs? So many deleted daily, so many sources lost. It breaks my (history student) heart. Anything which makes more sources is a Good Thing (tm).
