  • I like all the teams still standing. In my reckoning there are good teams and evil teams and all the teams left are good teams. It'd be better if there was one evil team left to vanquish in the World Series. The only evil-ish that is left is the White Sox, and they are not even close to real evil. Well, real BASEBALL evil.

  • Man, how 'bout them Sox! Longest WS game in history, and they've got it 3-0 now. Sorry to you Houston fans, but that probably means the Series. I'd actually like to see both teams win this one. The Sox are certainly due (1917!), plus it'd be yet another Groovy Baseball Statistical Longshot to have both Sox teams, who last won the WS in back-to-back series in the late teens both break their historic bad streaks in back-to-back series in the new century. On the other hand, there are some Astros players who richly deserve a WS ring, and my National League pride makes me want to see that designated hitter-having sissy league get taken down. But man, either way, what a series!
  • Five hour game? Pfft. Back in myyyyy dayyyy they played 18 innings and went six hours! And they liked it! They loved the mind-bendingly horrible sensation of not knowing if they won yet or not! Whoo boy it does sound like a series. Wouldn't it just blow everyone's mind if Houston came back? I mean, that's been their whole season right?
