Every Seinfeld episode The plots, the scripts, the streaming video! All of it ...
  • Neat. I wish someone had shown me this before I scoured the p2p networks collecting every Seinfeld episode that exists. I wish you could buy them on DVD, a la recently purchased Family Guy. Wonder how long that bandwidth is going to last...
  • I am that rare monkey that thinks Seinfeld was unfunny, repetitive, poorly written, and rarely rose above smirking and catch-phrase humor. Wow. Am I in a bad mood? /unnecessary bitching on trivial topic
  • Hmm - none of the video downloads work for me. I'd also caution against installing the 'download accelerator' the site recommends - it's spyware.
  • certainsome1 - I feel your pain. While I enjoy the show, my significant other abhores it for much the same reasons as you. That's okay though, because I usually win in the TV category of Trivial Pursuit. ;)
  • The only complaint I ever had of Seinfeld was Jerry's voice. But that never stopped me from watching it whenever it came on, it was hilarious. Love the link!
  • I wholeheartedly agree with certainsome1 and IgnorantSlut's significant other. And Jerry is so nasal, ugh.
  • And they outright stole the characters of Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer from Red Dwarf's Lister, Rimmer, Cat and Kryten. In my opinion, CSI is the funniest show on TV today (with Dr. Phil a strong second).
  • Jeez, wendell, I can honestly admit that the idea of Red Dwarf as a Seinfeld precursor had never ever crossed my mind. Now I'll never be able to watch either show in quite the same way. Which is great!
  • Great site! I've also wondered why Seinfeld can't be found on DVD yet. My only guess is that it's still making a lot of money through syndication -- my local TV stations show reruns at least twice a weekday.
  • Actually liet, Video Store Magazine just last week ran an interesting tid-bit about the syndication/DVD issue. Shows such as Seinfeld typically due extremely well in syndication, but it doesn't preclude the DVD sets. My guess would be there are simply a lot of contracts to lock down before it gets issued. The DVD TV sets are huge money-makers and Seinfeld is pretty close to a sure thing.
  • (This looks like that VSM article.)
  • I have to agree with the certainsome1 and those who didn't care for the show, but I have to admit a deep love for Curb Your Enthusiasm (For anybody who doesn't know, it is Seinfeld co-creator Larry David's unscripted HBO comedy). I really have a low tolerance for Jerry Seinfeld, and his absence is part of the reason i dig the show, but also it lacks the NBC filter and the show is both nastier and funnier, IMHO. New season begins in January, so check it out if you wish.
  • Sadly, Curb Your Enthusiasm is still a show about nothing, AND has people with annoying voices. Why watch a show about nothing? Has watching too much television, thus doing nothing, crossed with existenstialism, which says we are nothing unless we do something, somehow mushed together, making this really popular? /end cranky monday afternoon
  • Just one of a great number of once-popular shows I've never seen.
  • Never really clicked with Seinfeld. Or friends. That said, I found the little bits of Curb your Enthusiasm I have seen hilarious. I don't know how I would feel about a whole episode, esp as I don't think I could ever care about the characters, but maybe it's the improv quality. We need more deadpan improved humour.
  • I always thought it would be funny to go to open mic comedy nights and just describe funny seinfeld episodes I had seen. "And then Kramer, you know Kramer? The tall one? He totally lights his hair on fire! Oh, oh, oh, and then there was this other time that George got into a cold swimming pool-"
  • This is a post about nothing.
  • being stalked by a...something...about nothing
  • *stops, catches breath, looks both ways*
  • Actually, I really liked Seinfeld, but the half dozen 'Curb...' episodes I've seen grated on me; either Jerry's character *was* David to begin with, or David now was trying to mimic Jerry too much. A few gags were good (the one with the lady with the burka...) but overall, it seemed like 'meh, it's been done before' to me.
  • Never seen any of this stuff. Comes of living in Singapore I guess... *shrug*
