Toast portraits This guy makes mosaic portraits of famous people using toast.
  • After viewing the gallery of toast art, I was reminded of this.
  • Ha, I reckon half of my cooking lives at the Burnt Food Museum. I'd hate to have to wear a dress made of burnt toast dipped in polyurethane. How uncomfortable would that be? Then again, check out some of the competition.
  • This was a rad link that should have recieved more comments.

  • That was a lame comment that shouldn't have posted twice. OK, I'm done.
  • The portraits are impressive but I like a lot of the tile-ish toast better.
  • If you enjoy this tour, perhaps you'd be interested in the "Ghosts of Old MoFi" eeked thread walk? It starts every night at midnight in the Cursed Daisy May thread. $10. Meet under the yellow umbrella.
  • I never realised it before, but all of dhruva's early posts seem a bit under-appreciated, don't you think?
  • I love dhruva. So.
  • I love dhruva. So. Hmm, I'm not sure how forgotten passion connects with K.R.E.A.P., but I'm sure I'll figure it out in a few more posts.
  • Whee! This tour is fun. I already got the t-shirt, had and commemorative slurpy cup.
  • hat, not had
  • If I only had a hat...

  • unsubtle as cinnamon sour-sweet as marmalade your crumbling face o antique shade like buttered toast will never fade though down in four swift bites I gulp you call as ye like no one will help you
  • O crispy morsel O jelly bed Warm dark colored crackle Inside my head
  • Warning: I have had two shots of The Good Stuff, the Really Good Stuff. How I love ye, petebest! Ach, I canna think about your jelly bed -- it hurts my reelin' highland head.
  • It nae be soot Ye briny boot Hae so tramp'd 'neath ye heels Tho' spry ye be Did nae ye see The toaster heat ye meals?
  • the old sad tale I do prefer a honey spread with friend or foe though I'd rather go with a former than a latter -- I must eschew a crumby bed whereon to lay my bee-thought head -- which is no idle matter for lo! a week hath fluttered and flown since I busted my goddamn collarbone now I need to sleep in my bed alone
  • the bee abed with forlorn head buzzes like a bird but soon with spring with less than a word a bell shall sing and a dry crumb'll pop out the top of a toaster to tumble
  • An art deco toaster pleases me As much as a poem by our wacky bee A bread crisper true And jelly ensue My breakfastime supper to be!
  • "You know the whole 'K.R.E.A.P.' thing was totally made up. That's a legal thing, we really need to clarify that: no such thing as 'K.R.E.A.P.', so c'mon guys, stop looking for them. Okay, glad I got that out of the way. Right, petebest, have I talked about him yet? The thing about petebest is that... he's... he's really an amazing person. Um... like his name is 'petebest' and it's true you know? Like he really is the Best Pete! That's funny, I've never really thought about that before. But seriously, he's just this really professional, amazing guy with a ton of good jokes. I think they were jokes. Um... Well, they're either jokes or he goes to a lot of really weird bars..."
  • *hits all sorts of buttons on the remote, searching for the commentary in Esperanto*
  • La angla estas la mona lingvo, sed Esperanto la bona lingvo.
  • Warm the kitchen Crisp the bread Spread on the cream cheese No, cheddar instead Toasters rule mornings And afternoons too The snacktastic option Of sleepyhead fools
  • My toaster blows. I need a new one, something snazzy.
  • Some crave muffins in the morning -- others like them best with tea. Some want biscuts, hot, for breakfast, and serve 'em up with hot gravy. The griddlecake or flapjack stack suits some folk for a morning snack. But serve me piccalilli or a bowl of beans with redhot chili or a pickle that's sour and thoroughly dilly -- and watch me down 'em, verily.
