The Ig Nobel UK tour is already under way (London fully booked, but Warrington and Nottingham still have tickets and there's a Live Web Chat on Thursday). From the Annals of Improbable Research

Oooh. Nottingham Trent's just one train station away from me. Anyone fancy a date on Tuesday?

I've never seen an Ig ceremony, but am intrigued by their doing a mini-opera every year (the one about the origin of the Universe, entitled Il Kaboom Grosso, was apparently quite inspirational.)

Another Iggy operatic milestone: La Forza del Duct Tape.

A double-whammy if ever there was one!

And, O! wot heart of stone (or ear of tin) could resist The Power of Duct Tape!

Bollocks! Oxford was *last* Friday! Why didn't you post this a week earlier!?

sorry...
