Solipsism is the basis for Nihilism which spawned Dada.
Since there is no way of knowing anything there's no reason to hold any kind of values that can't be explained through rationalism. All abstract ideas are rejected and art just ends up a kind of crazy soup of what-ever-the-fuck-you-feel-like which is perpetrated out of the Nihilists' belief in the necessity for destruction.

A point would be to clarify the difference between pointless destruction as a side effect of thinking nothing means anything and "destruction" in the process of creation
or calling anything not immediately effortlessly comprehended as dada
or clarifying the original and evolved definition of dada
or for the person who resultantly thinks there was any point or validity in your comment for its existence and never learns otherwise
or--
if it's to mean you speak for this or any forum or *filter i have not been pointedly expressly invited to join as to whether i should bother to continue, finish, explain, contribute, or try to evolve any discussion further to any end or direction:

ok, now that i have addressed one person's solipsistc viewpoint--
i may address the gaps i see in my own solipsism according to pete's first definition
should i decide to not be a pointlessly unsuicided nilihist to anyone else's solipsistic virtual view
if someone has a logical explanation of what point a nilihist could possibly have in only creating a minor irritation except in destroying any reason to acknowledge their pointless existence by creating the conclusion that online nilihists are ineffective trolls and creating a place to note this point.
Haven't you ever seen The Big Labowski? The aim of my last comment was only to make a lame film reference, I didn't mean to give the impression that I was either representing the community or any personal beliefs (or even a good understanding of nihilism). I thought your comment invalidated my summary to anyone reading, so I didn't think there was any harm done. Sorry.
I should also add I thought the comment was still ironic whether you saw the film or not (so, I guess maybe I did mean to imply I some what understood nihilism).

by the way it was put i didn't think anyone reasonable would have meant what it seemed to mean or take it that way, and not knowing you i didn't think you'd either, erring towards the positive--
i just used it to make a point about points in general, as well as the fact some people do take things to mean whatever they want them to mean without even really looking at them or checking them out
which is part of what i see in people who are dismissive, of monkeyfilter or other
with so many new users, me being one of them, things are always going skewy/screwy, and not getting "jokes"--
it seems i guessed your intent rightly, but i thought to, i guess wrongly, clarify
mostly because so many things are always being mucked up and misunderstood
and if you haven't been warned, it will get worse, esp. in the next 30 days
also with the general joke tone or theme to the whole site, it's not always clear and somewhat prohibitive to more serious discussions
