Charles Darwin's ecological experiment on Ascension isle. [Via]
Good one, foop!
I'd love to see the cloud forest. It makes me wonder what fragile ecosystem Darwin disturbed to produce this magical place. And if it was equally magical in its apparent 'barrenness.'
The Economist's Correspondent's Diary blog recently featured a series of posts on Ascension Island ending with a piece on it's greening.
There's also a job opening, if any Monkeys are interested in a move.
