A temple complex in Turkey that apparently pre-dates the Pyramids of Egypt. Could this be the site of the worst mistake in human history? (agriculture or religion, take your pick...)
I dunno, but it seems to me that we're not yet sufficiently clever or civilized to handle either religion or agriculture responsibly.
As a Monkey, I suggest that we climb back into the trees for another few millenniums and hope for the best.

This link does add personal background about the archaeologist. He's a Roman Catholic who lives in the side of a hill with a Turkish wife. But I only learned that through sheer persistence, since the pop-up ad kept flashing over the story...
