was written for Porter Wagoner 25 years ago by Johnny Cash for Porter upon his learning that he and Wagoner had both spent time in the Nashville sanatorium.
One of the original honky tonks of country music, will turn 80 this August while in the midst of celebrating his year on The Grand Ole' Opry

I saw Porter live in New York some months ago and it was one of the better shows I've ever seen.

Powerful stuff. I almost think I'd have been able to tell that was a Johnny Cash song even if I hadn't known.
